Rhapsody
Back in the blogosphere again. The past week was one of the most physically-draining weeks in Stagmont. As mentioned, we had an outfield exercise which lasted till about 4am in the morning. Not just that, all the mental torture came when we were scolded for being too slow in setting up all the communication systems. I presume more of such nonsense will come when I get posted to my unit.
It somehow saddens me realizing that we're left with the last 2 weeks at Stagmont. The past 6 weeks had really been heaven of a time albeit some punishments and scoldings here and there. Lots of question mark surfaces in my mind once again; just what would be in store for me in my new unit? The brand new environment, adaptations and acclimatizations to be made... The only happy thing about graduating from Signal Institute though, is that I'll finally be getting my Signal insignia! To prove that I'm a qualified signal operator.
I FINALLY managed to do my first pull-up after 19 years of being a zero fighter. The sense of achievement and accomplishment was simply mind-blowing. I'll definitely work hard towards more pull-ups and eventually a PASS in my IPPT!!
And I also completed the "The Illusionist" series (Channel U) which I bought weeks ago. I enjoyed the plot tremendously! Just to share a quote that was rather intriguing I thought.
人生就像是一场魔术。
你走上台的那一刻,你表演的时间就已经开始倒数了。
表演结束后,你走下台的那一刻,也无需执著着台上已经消失的掌声。
Life is just like a magic show.
Once you step on to the stage, your performance time has started its countdown.
When you leave the stage, don't yearn for the applause that has already disappeared.
Till the next post.
